  • Details about your company – company name, registration details, vat number, trading address and evidence that it’s an established, experienced motor trade business.
  • Your buying/selling profile – the types of vehicles your company deals in.
  • Basic contact details for you – your name, email address, phone number.

If your company goes on to become a full member of Cartotrade, we will need to take payment details.

We will collect some usage information when you use the Website for example the adverts you place, the VRM lookups you perform, the number of times you log-in etc.

  • When you submit it to us as part of your company’s initial registration on our Website.
  • When we follow up with you, to complete your company’s registration, usually by telephone.
  • When we verify the information you have provided to us with regulatory bodies such as Companies House, as part of our due diligence.
  • When you contact us to inform us of any subsequent change of personnel or contact details for your company.
  • When we periodically update the information we hold for your company, usually by telephone (if there have been any changes at your end).
  • When you use the Website, by posting an advert to other dealers for example.
  • When we become aware of your business through your own company website or marketing.
